Nordic Space Investment Company Proactively Promotes Portfolio Companies

Many start-ups may suffer from a lack of support from their owners as soon as they sell a big slice of their equity to a venture capitalist or private equity company. They may be left to their own devices, without much guidance until the money runs out. Many investors naturally monitor their investments, but often enough only at an arm’s length. They may have limited expertise in a start-up’s sector and prefer to concentrate on financial spreadsheets and opportunities to sell the start-ups as fast as possible. These investors generally concentrate on building diversified portfolios where they hope to reap huge profits from a few successful portfolio companies that more than cover the losses of the remaining poor performers.

However, a few of investors do actively select portfolio companies from a specific sector where they are experts, and set out from day one of their acquisition to promote a path to success by proactive involvement with the young start-up.

Rymdkapital AB, a Swedish based investment company, established in 2022, is the first Nordic investment firm dedicated to European space startups building new space-tech companies. It aims to tackle some of the most pressing problems of governments and companies globally to have breakthroughs from the Space sector to create major success opportunities.

The company garners support from the space industry with their team’s experience and networks in the space sector and in the global venture capital business. Their portfolio companies can thus grow faster with less risk, especially when Rymdkapital helps founders with capital, coaching and supporting for next stage funding through their global network.
